Fructified a white, rose of basilica
Roam these halls of ivy and whore my ears
Monogamist with a higher education
To find my vocation and hold it dear
So you can fuck the little followers too
Indoctrinate them, we'll start a new
And we find the broken caller
hands outstretched to question why?
he stand corrupt before these hunters,
To hope they sing
To hope they sing
"Say?
Why won't you die"
Haemorrhage the hegemony of the hunters
Eviscerate the acceptance that culls them blind
But what am i but a sum of my values
Psalm 23 gonna eat these lambs
And here it comes, the all stamping censor
You take my body, I’ll martyr in time
And we find the broken caller
hands outstretched to question why?
he stand corrupt before these hunters,
To hope they sing
"Die!
Why won't you die"
I’ll Become the blood inside
And get her back in turn
A downward spiral comes
Segregate the masses
Sheep and Shepard lords
Breaking from what tasked us
She left you in your sleep
But you’re no longer weak
I am not a sheep
I will not bleat
I am not a sheep
I will not bleat
I am not a sheep
I will not bleat
I remember hearing this album way back when it just came out, listening to it on YT on repeat. And now I have it in 2022 on CD! Excellent for fans of prog metal, with a nice balance of genres. PunkGalFury
Illyria features a progressive post-black, post-hardcore, metalcore mashup with elements of other genres, including indie and sometimes jazz. I love the use of nature sounds incorporated into the music. I also love the post-black metal influence, which is most prevalent in Illyria's eponymous album.
My favorite track from the Illyria album is "Wonder." It showcases the best of Illyria, and includes a delicious melodic riff at the end. wast3dp0tential
Streamlining their post-metal sprawl through a sharper melodic focus, the Scottish juggernauts' third LP is labyrinthine yet approachable. Bandcamp New & Notable Apr 25, 2024
The Indonesian act Kekal leaves no genre unturned, colliding black metal with industrial music with melodic post-rock on this stunning LP. Bandcamp New & Notable Mar 25, 2023
